About Our Play Dates

Does your dog love a good play?

We will pick up your dog from your home in our specialist dog van and transport them to our back yard in Chapel Hill. Here they will enjoy a 40 minute play date with up to four compatible dogs.

Our play dates are full of running, chasing, sniffing and socialising. Balls and toys are thrown and dogs are encouraged to be active.

The composition of our dog groups is carefully selected for optimal harmony and fun. Should the dynamics of the dogs compromise the comfort or safety of any dog or human, we will take the dogs for an on-leash walk instead.

During the play date the dogs are provided with fresh water. Your dog will receive more fresh water on arrival at home.  Jogs for Dogs healthy Roast Chicken & Pumpkin Ice Treats will be provided as ordered. Find out more about our healthy treats HERE.

Your dog will receive:

  • exercise: 40 minutes of playing, running, chasing.
  • socialisation: interaction with other compatible dogs.
  • stimulation: through getting out of the backyard, playing games, experiencing new exciting smells, experiencing the company of other dogs & humans, tasting a range of wholesome treats where ordered.

View photos of your dog enjoying their play and treats on our special Facebook page.

We use a dog walking app, social media platforms Facebook and Instagram, as well as email and picture text messages.

Your dog's play will help less fortunate animals

Jogs for Dogs is proudly an RSPCA Corporate Supporter. Fifty cents from every Nature Walk and Play Date is donated to the RSPCA to support their work in preventing animal cruelty.

Did you know that in 2013-14 the RSPCA cared for nearly 46,000 dogs who were lost, abused, injured, abandoned, surrendered, or neglected? Find more information on the Qld RSPCA HERE.

Wet or hot weather

Our Play Dates go ahead in most weather, including light rain. On rainy days we can towel your dog off when we drop them home. However in the case of heavy rain or dangerous weather (e.g. storms or high temperatures) we offer either a make-up session or an Enrichment Session.

At our Enrichment Sessions we conduct basic training and fun games at your home, to keep your dog mentally stimulated and provide relief from cabin fever.
